Advanced Cookie module - PrestaShop - ensure compliance with European law - cookies

Advanced Cookie Management Module allows you to add cookie consents to your PrestaShop store.

Module Benefits:
- Ensures compliance with European data protection laws
- Option to deactivate modules in case of user non-consent
- Define custom consents such as cookies for analytics, advertising, user tracking, pixels
- For custom scripts, add JavaScript code to the header or footer using additional hooks:

• customPmCookieHeaderJs
• customPmCookieFooterJs

Configuration:

The module has a test mode - before deploying the advanced cookie module live, it's advisable to check if everything works properly. In the configuration, select: Enable module: No, Your IP address (Add my IP address). After saving the configuration, the module will operate in test mode only for the saved IP addresses.

We can define the title and content of the basic cookie consent message.

Show cookie tab in my account - the module creates a tab that allows for changing expressed consents related to cookies.

To facilitate quick module configuration in your store's configuration, you can choose button colors.

Window display delay - using this feature, you can delay the window display by a few seconds to avoid immediately deterring the customer with a cookie banner - however, it's recommended to set a short time.

Show cookie information only when the customer scrolls the page - this option will display consents when the customer performs an activity - scrolling down the page. If you set a delay and this option - after customer interaction, the window will pop up after a certain time, e.g., 2 seconds.
