Generating an order reference number [PrestaShop 1.6, 1.7, 8.x, 9x]

This module allows you to replace the default alphabetical order numbering with a fully customizable sequence of characters in PrestaShop 1.6, 1.7, 8.x and 9.x.

The configuration process is very simple – just define your own order number format using the available template variables.

If you want to use a fully random number, you can use the sequence: [c][c][c][c][c][c][c][c][c]. For the first [c], a digit from 1–9 is generated, while for the remaining positions digits from 0–9 are used.

Available variables:

[m]    - month
[d]    - day
[y]    - year
[inc]  - global incremental number
[incm] - monthly incremental number
[c]    - random digit
[k]    - random character
[K]    - random character (uppercase)
